Before we arrive
Getting ready for your appointment
Here's a quick checklist to help everything go smoothly on cleaning day.
- Keep everyone safe: Please keep your kids and pets inside while we work outside.
- Turn the water on: Please turn on your outside water tap before we come. We use the tap that's closest to your driveway.
- Lights and outlets: Please turn off your outside lights. Please unplug anything plugged into an outside outlet.
- Close windows and doors: Please make sure all your windows and doors are shut tight. This keeps the water outside where it belongs.
- Protect your things: Please move anything special, like decorations or wreaths, away from the areas we will clean.
- Move your cars: Please park your cars away from the house, or put them in the garage.
- Window screens: Please take off your window screens, or open them just a little bit so water can drain out. If you also booked window cleaning, we will do this step for you after we wash your house.
- Small things in the way: Please move small things like flower pots or chairs out of the way. We can slide a few things aside ourselves at no cost. But if there's a lot of furniture to move, that costs an extra $150. Please tell us first if you think we'll need to move a lot.
- Plants and grass: On hot days, please water your plants and grass the day before we come, and again a few hours before we arrive. This helps keep them safe. If you can't, that's okay — we will water them before, during, and after we clean.
